I took up walking 10,000 paces a day a few years ago.
Today, I saw I had logged over 10,000 kilometers, using the Stepz App.
Most of the walking has been local, in London, a tourist in your own city …
Apart from the health benefits, I know the people and the area around where I live a lot better now. It helped me realise I could move to a nicer place and still live in the same part of London.
If you are in London, I can recommend the TFL Walking site, there are some great walks on it. I love the Capital Ring. It is broken into 15 easy segments, each convenient for public transport. Every segment is unique, the variety is spectacular.
