My Heating Bill

At last! Some good news!

I moved from a flat to a house recently and spent a long time refurbishing the place. This included replacing the roof with a new properly insulated one, well insulated windows, topping up the cavity wall insulation and finally, lining the inside of external walls with 50mm insulated plasterboard.

My heating bill arrived for January, it was £25 !!!

Hooray!!!

All of that hard work has paid off, giving me a comfortable environment that I will be able to afford to heat. This is less than I paid for the flat.

I buy quite expensive “eco” gas and electricity too … from the lovely folks at Ecotricity in Stroud. They are very right on but their meter reading App sucks.
