Royal baby: Duke and Duchess of Sussex name son Archie

Prince Harry held their two-day-old son The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have named their newborn son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Introducing him to the cameras earlier in the day, Meghan said: “He has the sweetest temperament, he’s really calm.”

My guess is, you know I am not much of a Royalist … but this takes the biscuit … the Half Man Half Biscuit to be specific :

“Don’t be calling him Fred or Archie, with all its cheeky but lovable working class scamp connotations, unless you really do have plans for him to spend his life in William Hill’s waiting for them to weigh in at Newton Abbot”

Love that lyric.

Maybe the Sussexes were thinking more of Ascot …
