President Trump says Brexit ’no problem’ for Ireland

The issue of the Irish border after Brexit will “not be a problem at all”, Donald Trump has claimed on his first visit to Ireland as US President. He arrived at Shannon Airport at about 16:45 local time and held a meeting with Taoiseach (Irish PM) Leo Varadkar.

The Irish must be so happy to be loved so much by this despicable man who so clearly misunderstands their problems.

The “Wall of Ireland” just is not a problem on Planet Trump, it must be such a relief.

I hate to think what Trump would have stumbled with if he’d realised the Taoiseach was openly gay, as it was, the cretin could only dribble that their friendship was

as good as it’s ever been, maybe better

whatever that means … at least Mr Varadkar had the wit to say

I don’t think it’s possible for him to have an in-depth understanding of issues in every single country

Too true, he does not even have one of his own country.
