Brexit: No 10 rejects EU’s view of talks

The government has rejected claims it is unwilling to negotiate with the EU and wants talks to fail to allow a no-deal Brexit. It comes after the EU said UK demands to remove the Irish backstop from Theresa May’s deal were unacceptable.

Our government is misleading us.

We all knew the EU would refuse to re-negotiate, particularly on the basis the current UK government demands. The EU have been very clear about this all along, they are not going to be bullied by a twat like Johnson.

What he is doing is trying to set up the EU to take the blame for the huge damage leaving without a deal will do to us all. He knows his jingoistic supporters would far rather blame the EU than him.

It’s obscene, they are trying to make the EU the enemy, when really we should be blaming the extreme ideology of the present government.
